Law Enforcement Officer of the Year…November 2012

On Thursday evening, October 25, 2012, Mooresville Police Officer, Jerry Spruill was honored as Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the Mooresville-Lake Norman Exchange Club.  He is a two year veteran of the Mooresville Police Department, working one year for the Landis Police Department becoming coming to Mooresville.   Officer Spruill became a police officer after spending 20 plus years in the racing communications industry. He uses his knowledge of electronics to help install equipment in the department’s patrol cars and dedicates much of his time to traffic safety, particularly DWI enforcement.
